Second Annual Michelin IMSA Sportscar Encore

The International Motor Sports Association brings back its much-awaited, highly-coveted event. A year after its inauguration, racing fans still want more. 2019’s encore was such a success that fans made noise to have an encore of an encore. Despite being a comeback event, participants can expect that this one would be a new and improved version as organizers continually develop the whole picture.

It will be a 3-day event from November 8 to 10, which is a day less than 2019’s encore. As a part of their partnership, this Michelin IMSA-sanctioned event will be held at Sebring International Railway in Florida. All three sponsors have paved the way for newcomers and veterans in the industry alike to gather in an event and celebrate the art of racing even after racing season has ended.

Vehicles with LMP3, GT4, TCR and the recently added GT3 classification will be featured in this year’s encore. The event is open to first-timers as active participation in previous IMSA activities ix not part of their guidelines.

* November 8 – First day will be dedicated for setting up and testing out machines.

* November 9 – Second day will be practice, drafting and qualifying activities on the track.

* November 10 – The third and last day will be reserved for the actual race which is a four-hour endurance competition.

The weekend will be filled with excitement and roaring engines. Because it is a postseason event, there’s less pressure and more fun. This Michelin, IMSA sports car encore sets up a new tradition not just for Sebring, but for the whole drag race industry. For racing enthusiasts, mark your calendars and head on over to Florida’s iconic circuit for three days of pure moments of speed and steam. If you were in last year’s encore, this is the chance to witness the successful event the second time around! Thanks to our Sponsor Movers Philadelphia, this upcoming event is made possible. Don’t miss the chance to witness quick as a flash race car battle it out for a four-hour spectacle. Tickets will be available at the gate.
